Our purpose is to provide regular meetings and activities for men no longer in full-time work who appreciate and value opportunities to meet others with similar interests.
Fellowship
Rising out of membership activities there is a self-generating goodwill, a diverse background of interests and a strong feeling of cordiality.
Friendship
Meeting new people, making new friends and discovering new interests are just some of the advantages of belonging to a Probus club.
Fun
Fostering companionship, social events and providing monthly meetings with interesting speakers. Occasional visits are also arranged, often to places not usually open to the public. There are also currently two specific interest groups covering bowls and Digipix which run their own activity programmes.
Our Meetings
Our core meetings, informal in nature, are in Forthview Parish Church, Dalgety Bay, on the first Tuesday of every month and if you think you may be interested in Probus, you are very welcome to come along to a meeting as a guest.

Important - Change of Club Meeting Venue
Please note that until further notice, club meetings will be held in Forthview Parish Church, Dalgety Bay.
Informal Coffee Gatherings - Third Tuesday of Each Month
The informal coffee gatherings in Louie Brown's on the third Tuesday of the month will continue until further notice. Next gathering: Tuesday 18th August from 10am onwards.
September Meeting - Jim Leishman - From Ball to Chain
At our meeting on 1st September, Jim Leishman will be relating his journey from footballer to Fife Provost in a talk entitled From Ball to Chain.
Dalgety Bay Horticultural Society Annual Show - Saturday 5th September
The Dalgety Bay Horticultural Society Annual Show will take place in the Community Centre and Church Hall on Saturday 5th September from 12:30 to 4pm.
